Fit for Life Foundation appoints Dr Louise Aronson as Member of the Advisory Board
Vaduz, 11 January 2022 – The Fit for Life Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Louise Aronson as Member of the Advisory Board. Dr. Aronson is a practicing geriatrician and Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), the founding director of the AGE SELF CARE program and the Integrative Aging clinical practice at UCSF, and the author of the non-fiction bestseller and Pulitzer Prize finalist Elderhood: Redefining Aging, Transforming Medicine, and Reimagining Life. Her contribution will be key to advance the Foundation's vision of healthy aging.

The members of the Fit for Life Foundation Advisory Board assist and support the Foundation in achieving its aims. They serve on a voluntary basis, sharing their expertise and experience in a wide range of fields. Current Advisory Board Members include Antonella Notari and André Borschberg.
A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Dr. Aronson has served as director of the Northern California Geriatrics Education Center, the UCSF Pathways to Discovery program, and the campus-wide Health Humanities and Social Advocacy Initiative. She has received numerous awards, including California Homecare Physician of the Year and the Gold Professorship in Humanism in Medicine. Her scholarly articles have been published in prestigious medical journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine and the Lancet. Her best-selling book, Elderhood, which was released to starred reviews in June 2019, argues for a more positive and rewarding attitude to growing old.
